UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, May 12 — For the last two days, Russian forces attacked Ukrainian positions on the Kharkiv and Kupiansk axes 11 times, reported the General Staff. According to Oleh Syniehubov, governor of the Kharkiv region, Russia also injured 10 civilians during this period.

The supposed three-day ceasefire announced by Russian President Vladimir Putin ended on May 10. During that time, Ukrainian militaries said to Gwara Media that they “do not see any ceasefire. If someone hadn’t mentioned a ceasefire, we wouldn’t have known about it.”

On May 10, the Russian troops attacked Ukrainian positions three times near Vovchansk, Mala Shapkivka, and Kamianka on the Kharkiv axis and three times near Kindrashivka, Synkivka, and Zahryzove on the Kupiansk axis.

Also, the Russian army attacked several settlements in the Kupiansk district, injuring a 76-year-old woman and an 82-year-old man and damaging houses, civilian infrastructure, garages, and a car.

During May 11, Ukrainian forces recorded three Russian attacks near Vovchansk on the Kharkiv axis and two attacks near Nova Kruhliakivka and Zahryzove on the Kupiansk axis.

Over the same day, Russians injured 11 people in Kharkiv Oblast, using seven guided aerial bombs and six FPV-drones.

On May 10, the leaders of France, Germany, Poland, the United Kingdom, and Ukraine met in Kyiv to discuss a full and unconditional ceasefire for at least 30 days, starting May 12. Russia did not support this idea, but Putin suggested negotiations in Istanbul on May 15. Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Ukrainian President, agreed.
