UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Jul 23 — Over July 22, Russian forces attacked Kharkiv and three other settlements in the region with 12 unguided aerial missiles and 19 drones of different types, said governor Oleh Syneihubov.

In Izium, the city in the southeast of Kharkiv Oblast, Russians injured two women and damaged a storage building in the Izium district.

In Kupiansk, the city that now stands less than 2 miles from the frontline, Russian attacks injured a man and a woman, damaged a house, and a car. 

In Velykyi Burluk, a settlement in Kupiansk district, Russians injured a woman and damaged a bus station, post office building, emergency medical services base, and two cars. Also, the market caught fire because of the attack.

Russian troops launched two attack drones at the Industrialnyi district of Kharkiv. There were no casualties.

Andrii Besedin, head of the Kupiansk military administration, said that the situation in the city is extremely difficult. Russian forces conducted thousands of attacks on Kupiansk and the nearest settlements, damaging the critical infrastructure.

Evacuation continues in the Kupiansk community. Yesterday, 54 people were evacuated, but about 1,300 residents are still there, said Syneihubov during the national telethon.

He also noted that in the Kupiansk, Izium, and Lozova districts, Russia is systematically attacking agricultural equipment and setting fields on fire.
