UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Apr 23 — Russian attacks killed 2,851 and injured 6,549 people, including 96 killed and 495 injured children, said Spartak Borysenko, one of the senior experts from the Kharkiv regional Prosecutor’s Office, in the ether of Novyny.LIVE.
On the third anniversary of the full-scale war, the UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine reported about 12,654 killed and 29,392 injured civilians in Ukraine, including 673 dead and 1,865 wounded children.
In Kharkiv Oblast, Russia destroyed or damaged more than 50,000 houses, said Borysenko.
The Kharkiv regional Prosecutor’s Office has 27,500 criminal proceedings against Russia, 80% of which are related to attacks on civilian objects.
The evacuation process also continued in settlements near the frontline in the Kharkiv region. For the past week, 354 people, including 25 children, have been evacuated, said the press office of local police.
Russia is constantly trying to push forward through Ukraine army’s defenses from the north, east, and southeast of Kharkiv Oblast.
Over the past day, their troops attempted to advance five times on the Kharkiv and Kupiansk axes, reported the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
