UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Feb. 17 — Kharkiv police in cooperation with volunteer organizations “Rose on hand” and “Khaustov” evacuated the mother with her five children, including 2.5-month-old infant, from the village of Kyrylivka in Vovchansk community, Kharkiv regional police said on Feb.17.

Police added that the family is in a safer place now. 

In July, 2023 Ukrainian authorities declared a mandatory evacuation of families with children  from the Vovchansk community. Then, Oleh Syniihubov, a regional governor, was talking about evacuation of nearly 200 children from the community. 

In 2024, Kharkiv regional police reported that they evacuated the last five children from the Vovchansk community. Today the police reported about another evacuation of the children from there.
