UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Jul 7 — Russian troops advanced north of Kupiansk near Holubivka, reported DeepState, an analytical OSINT project with a war tracking map, on July 6. 

Russia has been trying to seize Kupiansk for the second time since Ukaine liberated the city in the autumn of 2022. Currently, a little over 2,200 people live in the city, constantly bombarded by Russian strikes. 

On Jul 7, Ukrainian army repelled three attacks near Myrne, Holubivka, Kindrashivka, and Zahryzove, with three combat clashes with Russia continuing, reported the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in their latest briefing. 

Previously, DeepState reported on Russian advances near Karpivka in Donetsk Oblast and Zelenyi Hai in Kharkiv Oblast, in which they tried to establish a foothold on the right bank of the Oskil River. 

On Aug 6, Russian troops launched an airstrike on Kupiansk that killed a man.
