UKRAINE, KUPIANSK AXIS, Oct. 30 — Drone pilots of “Kara-Dag,” an unmanned system unit of 15th brigade of Ukraine’s National Guard, destroyed a Russian artillery system developed by North Korea, reported the brigade’s press office.
They added that Ukrainian troops destroyed a Type 75 North Korean artillery system that could strike at a distance of 8.5 kilometers.
Russian forces intensified their offensive on Kupiansk in July. Russia aims to surround and occupy Kupiansk and seize Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi, a city to the south of Kupiansk.
They plan to use Kupiansk-Vuzlovyi’s railways to simplify the transportation of heavy equipment.
