UKRAINE, Mar. 26 — Ukrainian Forces expanded the kill zone in Belgorod oblast in Russia, reported Andrii Karelin, the commander of the Strike Drone Company of the 58th Mechanized Brigade.

He said that Ukrainian forces are creating a buffer zone by primarily striking Russian logistics and positions with drones.

According to Karelin, Russian troops are focusing their efforts on the Vovchansk sector, while the entire border area of the Kharkiv region remains active. They continue to use small sabotage and reconnaissance groups to try to infiltrate Ukrainian positions, often taking advantage of poor weather, he added.

Karelin said Russia continues to rotate and reinforce its units, but has not introduced changes that would significantly alter the situation at this section of the frontline.

He reiterated that Russian tactics now rely on small infantry assault groups supported by FPV drones and artillery, replacing earlier large-scale mechanized assaults.
