UKRAINE, KHARKIV REGION, Mar. 26 — Russian troops “significantly” increased the number of drones with the improvement of weather in Kharkiv oblast, and it is constantly growing, said the spokesperson of the 3rd Heavy Mechanized Brigade, Ihor Romanenko, to Army TV.
Russian troops attack the Kharkiv region from the north, east, and southeast, seizing villages and disrupting logistical routes. On Mar. 24, OSINT war monitoring group DeepState reported on Moscow’s advance in Ambarne village north of the Kharkiv region.
“We see all the spectre of drones, all modifications in our (part of the frontline), from Molniya drones to Shaheds, from the usual ZALAs and Orlans to AI-driven drones,” Romanenko said. “Molniyas here are like locusts here.”
Romanenko added that the 3rd Heavy Mechanized Brigade is successfully downing the Russian drones and counterattacking. He said the brigade attacks Russian positions with heavy bomber drones equipped with anti-tank mines they call “sandwiches.”
