Russia attacked Kharkiv city and oblast with missiles and a Shakhed unmanned aerial vehicle on March 30-31.
Kharkiv Regional Military Administration: Russia shelled Kharkiv on the night of March 30
- On March 30, the enemy launched a rocket attack on the Novobavarskyi district in Kharkiv. Nine missiles were fired at the city. According to preliminary information, Russians attacked from the territory of Belgorod Oblast with the S-300 air defense system (S-300, NATO reporting name SA-10 Grumble, anti-aircraft missile systems used for air defense, but the Russian occupiers use them to attack ground targets).
A civil infrastructure object and private residential buildings were damaged in Kharkiv. Some of the rockets hit the ground and exploded in the air.
Three people received minor injuries as a result of the rocket attack. Hospitalization was not required.
- On the night of March 30-31, the enemy attacked the Izium district’s critical infrastructure facilities with the Shakhed UAV. Two civilian men aged 44 and 66 were injured and hospitalized.
- On March 30, the enemy shelled the border settlements in the Kupiansk, Chuhuiv, and Vovchansk districts in Kharkiv Oblast. Kozacha Lopan, Kupiansk, Dvorichna, Strilecha, and other towns and villages were under enemy fire. Residential buildings and commercial buildings were damaged.
- On March 30, the pyrotechnics of the State Emergency Service inspected more than 15 hectares of territory and neutralized 274 explosive objects.
- On March 29, a 13-year-old girl was wounded during the shelling of the Kolisnykivka village of the Shevchenkove community in Kharkiv Oblast.
General Staff: Russians shelled at least 20 settlements in Kharkiv Oblast
- Kharkiv and more than 20 settlements in Kharkiv Oblast came under Russian shelling on March 30-31.
- The enemy concentrates its main offensive actions on the Kupiansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Mariinka axis.
Earlier: The enemy continued to shell civilians and civilian infrastructure in the settlements of Kupiansk, Chuhuiv, Kharkiv, and Bohodukhiv districts in Kharkiv Oblast on March 28-29.
