UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Apr. 7 — The Kharkiv State Emergency Service and National Police of Ukraine evacuated 733 people from the dangerous areas near the frontline in the Kharkiv oblast over the past week, said the press service of the emergency services.

They also noted that there were 41 children and 45 people with disabilities among the evacuated people.

Earlier, local authorities of the Zolochiv community, which is located north of the Kharkiv oblast, announced plans to declare a mandatory evacuation in Liutivka, Svitlychne, and Makarove border villages because of constant Russian attacks. So, the evacuation zone in the Kharkiv region has been expanded.

Also, on Mar. 2, the law that allows a forced evacuation of children from the areas threatened by Russia’s war without parents’ consent came into effect.

Local authorities have recorded three cases of children being forcibly removed from their families and evacuated from the Kupiansk district, east of the Kharkiv region.
