UKRAINE, KHARKIV, Mar 20 — The Faktor-Druk printing house that was almost ruined after the Russian missile strike on Kharkiv in May 2024 is already rebuilt, reported Yuliia Svyrydenko, first vice premier and minister of economy.
“[Right after the destruction] we were looking for help. Billionaire Howard Buffet responded first, [saying], “We’ll restore it.” And today — here’s the photo of the restored printing workshop,” Svyrydenko said.

On May 23, Russians damaged Faktor-Druk with an S-300 missile, killing seven employees of the printing house and injuring 21. Because of the attack, 50,000 books were burned down.
Faktor-Druk was one of the largest printing houses of this type in Europe—almost all Ukrainian publishers published their book through them.
At the end of January 2024—about eight months after the attack—journalists reported that the printing press was already able do full-cycle production for certain projects.
