UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Jan. 6 — On Jan. 6, police evacuated a woman with a child, 12 cats, and three dogs from the village near the Vovchansk community, said the Kharkiv regional police.

Currently, the evacuated family is in a safer place.

Foreign representatives, a monk from the Czech Republic, and “Rose on the Hand” volunteers also joined the evacuation team.

Earlier, Andrii Demchenko, the spokesperson for the Ukrainian border guard, said that Russian troops are attempting to widen the combat areas in northern Kharkiv oblast, including the Vovchansk axis and near the Sotnytskyi Kozachok in the Bohodukhiv district.
