Day 476 of the Russian full-scale military aggression against Ukraine has begun. The adversary continues to shell Kharkiv Oblast with mortars, artillery, and air strikes.

Current situation in Ukraine

  • Russian invaders launched a missile and air strike, using 16 X-101/X-555 air-launched cruise missiles and 4 Iranian Shahed strike UAVs against critical infrastructure facilities in Kharkiv region and residential buildings in Kryvyi Rih. Ukrainian servicemen destroyed 11 cruise missiles and one strike drone.
  • The adversary carried out 39 air strikes and fired 62 times from multiple launch rocket systems at the positions of our troops and populated areas.
  • The likelihood of further missile and air strikes across Ukraine remains very high.
  • The enemy continues to focus its primary efforts on attempts to occupy Luhansk and Donetsk regions – 28 combat engagements took place in this frontline area over the past day.

Slobozhanshchyna axis

The adversary continues to maintain a military presence in the areas bordering Ukraine. Russian army conducted an air strike near Ohirtseve. It fired mortar and artillery shells at the settlements of Ivashky, Udy, Strilecha, Lukiantsi, Izbytske, Staritsa, Synelnykove, Ohirtseve, Hatyshche, Vovchansk, Budarky and Vilkhuvatka in Kharkiv Oblast.

Kupiansk axis

The adversary launched an air strike near Krokhmalne in Kharkiv region. Kamianka, Topoly, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Zakhidne, Kupyansk, Kyslivka, Berestove in the region came under artillery and mortar fire.

Kharkiv RMA

The Russian army shelled the border and frontline settlements of Kharkiv, Kupyansk, Chuhuiv and Bohodukhiv districts of the region.

The head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, reported that a private house, a garage, an outbuilding and a car were damaged and a fire started in the village of Petropavlivka in Kupiansk district.

  • A private house was destroyed in the village of Ivashky, Bohodukhiv district.
  • In Kupyansk, two private households were damaged.
  • No civilian casualties were reported over the day.

Mine clearance

During the day, pyrotechnic units of the State Emergency Service seized and defused 71 pieces of explosives.
