According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on December 6, the Russian military conducted at least eight futile attacks on the Kupiansk axis.
The American Institute for the Study of War (ISW) reported on this.
According to Ukrainian command, attempts to conduct an offensive near Synkivka and Novoselivske of Luhansk Oblast were fought off. The Russian side writes about the partial occupation of Synkivka, but the ISW doesn’t confirm this information.

Also, Russian military structures state that their army fought off all counterattacks of the AFU nearby of Ivanivka and Synkivka. But there’s no confirmation of any Russian advances at this section of the frontline, the ISW writes.
