He was served with a notice of suspicion in Kupiansk for voluntarily taking the position of pro-Kremlin acting head of the Department of Culture, Sports and Youth of the Military-Civil Administration of the Kharkiv Region during the occupation of the city and cooperating with the occupation authorities.
“The collaborator managed the department’s work, organized its logistics and approved the acceptance of candidates for positions in the department he headed,” the statement said.
In addition, the man was engaged in developing and approving plans for holding public events to support Russian action in the occupied areas.
The suspect faces 5 to 10 years imprisonment.
