UKRAINE, Dec. 23 — The armored ground robot of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade of Ukrainian Ground Forces went on combat duty and used machine gun fire to repel all attempts by the Russians to break through, said the press office of the brigade and the 3rd army corps. It held off Russian assaults for 45 days.

Ukrainian forces actively use armored ground robots for combat missions, the delivery of ammunition, reconnaissance, and the evacuation of injured soldiers, reducing the risks for personnel.

The operators of the combat armored robot unit NC13 used the ground drone DevDroid TW 12.7 from a safe location.

“During the mission, the Russians failed to infiltrate or occupy our position. Ukrainian fighters held their ground with zero casualties,” said the brigade.

On Dec. 22, the Kharkiv regional police said that they evacuated civilians from the danger area with the help of a ground drone.
