UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Nov 25 — Russian troops attacked Kharkiv Oblast six times on the northern axis and 14 times in the east and southeast of the region, reports the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

North of Kharkiv Oblast, the Russian army wants to push towards Kharkiv close enough to reach the city with tube artillery and create “a buffer zone” for Belgorod Oblast.

Over the past day, General Staff reports, Russia assaulted the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine six times near Kozacha Lopan, Tykhe, and Vovchansk on the Kharkiv axis in the north.

In the east and southeast of Kharkiv Oblast, Moscow aims to seize Kupiansk and Kupiansk-Vyzlovyi, which it already occupied in 2022, and take control of the railway infrastructure there.

There, on the Kupiansk axis, Ukrainian troops fought off 14 Russian assaults in Holubivka, Pishchane, Lozova, Kruhliakivka, Novoosynove, Kolisnykivka, and Vyshneve, reports the General Staff.
