UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Dec. 5 — In the morning of Dec. 5, Kharkivoblenergo, a municipal energy company, reported that it had implemented emergency power outage schedules in Kharkiv oblast because of Russian attacks on the region’s critical infrastructure.
Over the past day, Russian forces attacked Kharkiv and the region 7 times with one glide bomb and 30 drones of different types. There were no casualties, said Oleh Syniehubov, the governor of the region.
In Kharkiv, four Russian drones attacked the Osnovianskyi region, damaging the business building. Several fires broke out, covering a total area of 500 square meters, said the Kharkiv State Emergency Service.
In the Bohidukhiv district, Russians damaged a house, outbuildings, and power networks.
They also damaged a civilian business building in the Chuhuiv district.
Andrii Kanashevych, the head of the military administration of the Kupiansk district, said that Russian drones and glide bombs damaged houses, outbuildings, cars, and power networks in the district over the past day. No casualties were reported.
