On August 1, around midnight, Russian troops launched a Shahed drone attack on Kharkiv from the territory of the Belgorod region. One civilian was injured, reported Dmytro Chubenko, the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office spokesman.
Five drones attacked the city, President Zelenskyy said. Four hits were recorded — two buildings were damaged, and one was on fire, the State Emergency Service reports.
Three hits were recorded at the sports complex in the Shevchenkivskyi district. A 63-year-old security guard was injured and hospitalized.
