UKRAINE, KHARKIV, Mar 29 — At about 8:55 p.m., Russia hit Kharkiv with a drone attack. As of 11:41 p.m., there’s information from local authorities about the attack hitting Shevchenkivskyi and Kyivskyi district of the city and killing at least three people (two have been recovered from under the debris) and injuring at least 27, including five children aged 5-17 years old.

General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine also reported that Russian drones targeted the building of Kharkiv’s military hospital, damaging the facility and the residential buildings nearby. The attack injured soldiers who were hospitalized there.

“Fact of an intentional, targeted attack by the Russian army on Ukraine’s medical facility added to a long list of vile, cynical crimes Russians committed since the beginning of the unprovoked invasion of Ukraine,” General Staff said.

Kharkiv is a city to the northeast of Ukraine, 20 miles from the Russian border. Russia targets it frequently with attacks from across the border and from occupied territories with glide bombs, drones, and other weaponry.
