UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, May 1 — Over the past day, Russians launched 28 attack drones and 20 aerial guided bombs, injuring five adults and nine children, said Oleh Syniehubov, Kharkiv Oblast governor, and the regional Prosecutor’s Office’s report.
On April 30, Russians attacked 10 settlements in Kharkiv Oblast, injuring more than 50 people, including 47 people in Kharkiv injured in a Russian night drone attack.
On the morning of April 30, the Russian troops launched six “Geran-2” attack drones at Pivdenne, a city in Kharkiv district, injuring five adults and nine children.
During the day from April 30 to May 1, the State Emergency Service of Kharkiv region extinguished 45 fires, 10 of which were caused by Russian attacks.
In Izium district, the shelling started a forest fire that covered 700 square meters in Horokhovatka village. In Balakliia, a Russian drone damaged six manufacturing buildings and six houses, setting fire to an area of 10 square meters. Also, Russian attacks caused fires in Vyshche Solone and Pisky-Radkivski villages.
On April 30, the Russian troops also attacked Novomykolaivka village in the Kupiansk district, setting a forest fire on an area of 150 square meters. In Kupiansk, a Russian air guided bomb damaged a house and outbuilding. No casualties have been reported from this attack.
At night on May 1, four Russian “Geran” drones hit the Vasyshcheve settlement in Kharkiv district, setting fire to two civilian businesses that spread through 900 square meters.
At 11:30 p.m. on April 30, a Russian “Molniya” drone hit the Kyivskyi district in Kharkiv, setting fire to a filling station, said the local Prosecutor’s Office. There was no information about the casualties.
