UKRAINE, KHARKIV OBLAST, Jan. 13 — The border guards of the Furiia unit of the 1st mobile border guard brigade Hart captured a group of Russian soldiers crossing the border in the Kharkiv oblast. Ukrainian soldiers used a drone with a loudspeaker to capture the group, said the press service of Hart.

Aerial reconnaissance by the Furiia unit spotted a group of Russians crossing the border in the northern Kharkiv region. After that, strike drone operators attacked the group, and the surviving Russians were forced to surrender, Hart reported.

The Ukrainian military used a Matrice drone equipped with a loudspeaker to give instructions to the surrendering Russians.

Russian assault troops with their hands raised headed toward the Hart brigade’s positions.

“We not only prevented the Russian assault, but also gained valuable information about their plans and added (people) to our (POW) exchange fund,” said the press service of Hart.

Earlier, the Ukrainian military reported that Russian soldiers were surrendering on the Vovchansk axis because of their low morale.
